Dan Enrique is a Cuban American producer, content creator and musician based in New York City. He was an Assistant Editor for National Geographic’s Photographer docuseries which won a Peabody Award in 2024, also nominated for an Emmy in 2025, and he has continued working various TV/episodic series, documentaries, independent feature films, and branded content programmed by BET, Bravo, CBS, Disney+, Food, HBO, Hulu, MSNBC, MTV, NBCUniversal, Netflix, Paramount, PBS, Time Inc, Verizon Media, VH1, Viacom, Walmart, Yahoo, the Sundance Institute and others. Enrique also runs People Parlante, a Latin American political entertainment channel where it views the world, and the internet, through a working class lens, and in 2016 his short screenplay Lady Lares was a Best Short Script Semi-Finalist at the Southern California Screenplay Competition. He is a cousin descendant of Khalil Gibran, renowned Lebanese American artist and author of “The Prophet” and other influential works of the Arab diaspora during the Young Turk Revolution and Great Syrian Revolt. Enrique has even earned national awards for his own poetry in 2011 at the Columbia Scholastic Press Association's Gold Circle Awards (Third Place) and the CCHA Literary Magazine Competition (Honorable Mention).
